1Corinthians_4:2  Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

The story was told of a wealthy man who engages the services of a civil engineer to build houses for him; The Engineer built all the houses of the wealthy man and was very faithful, the wealthy man notified the Engineer that he is retiring from business and therefore he wants to build one last house. He wanted the house to be more beautiful than his previous houses. He commissioned the engineer to build the house for him. The engineer abandoned his age-long faithfulness and played a fast one on the wealthy man. He bought substandard products with which he built the house. Finally the house was completed. At the commissioning of the house, the wealthy man appreciated the engineer for his many years of service and faithfulness and declared that as a gesture of his appreciation for his service, he is giving him the house. The engineer busted into tears because he knew that he built the house with substandard products and as such it would not last, he also regretted that unknown to him, he had shot himself in the foot by building his ‘own house’ with substandard products.

Whatever your vocation, calling role, faithfulness is a required component. It is also the passport for your promotion to the next level. Unfaithfulness comes in different forms and can stealthily enter into one’s consciousness, if it is not monitored. Some employees do handle their work with a light hand, putting in, minimum effort to escape being accused of laziness. Some when coming to the workplace bring with them stuffs to preoccupy them. They steal the time of their employers for other things. There are also those who are perpetually on the social media as if that is their job, twitting and posting status updates all day while the work for which they are paid for suffers. Some spiritualize their errors by reading through the bible all day as if they were being paid to do so. Some are on the radio, calling in to contribute their opinions, and when the company decides to downsize and they are top on the list they begin to wonder why. On the flip side of the coin are some who take the business as if it is theirs they put in extra effort, they are always coming up with suggestions and recommendation to move the company forward, they seem to be overloaded with work as their bosses are always giving them more to do, the company sees them as an asset and even if they don’t, they have put themselves into sufficient good use to make them indispensable wherever they go.

(1) Your faithfulness determines your reputation.  What is the one word that can describe you in the area of faithfulness?.
(2) The way you handle other people’s work will determine if God will release your own to you.           Luk 16:12  And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own? You may pray and fast that God should move you to the next level, but if you have not engaged the principle of faithfulness you may be stuck in a spot.

(3) Your promotion is hidden in your faithfulness. Your faithfulness determines your promotion.Matthew 25:23  His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

(4) Being faithful in little things schedules your appointment with bigger things.Luk 16:10  He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Moses was first led the flock of Jethro before he led God’s people, he was first a leader of sheep before he became a leader of people, this same scenario applied to David. Some have avoided the small and little jobs that is the route to bigger things because they felt that they are too big for such.Exodus 3:1  Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert,

(5) A single unfaithfulness may spoil years of faithfulness.  Strive to always do what is right regardless of the circumstances.

The 3 Hebrew children came out of fire to their places of prominence in a foreign land, Daniel came out of the the Lion's Den unscathed, Job lost all and gained much more back. "How you handle relationships, will determine, if you will have open doors or will be standing before doors with broken knobs" God has scheduled the people in your life for a purpose, the challenge is to recognize them and the purpose for which they are in your life Most things that God wants to get to you, will come through the vehicle of relationships, an angel may not appear to u but God will use people "In life, There are people in life that you must not MEET and there are people in life that you must not MISS. The challenge is to know the difference."
